Definition: A link, or hyperlink, refers to a piece of specially coded text that users can click on to navigate to the webpage or element of a webpage associated with that link's code.
Developers can distinguish plain text from a link by making the link text bold, underlined, or a different color.
Most often, the link text explains what the link will lead to when it is clicked, but links can be integrated in plain text a variety of ways.
